Turner Prize nominated artist Richard Billingham‘s feature debut is a kitchen sink drama inspired by his memories and celebrated series of candid photographs depicting his family in their council flat outside Birmingham during the Thatcher era.

It follows his alcoholic father Ray, obese and tattooed mother Liz and younger brother Jason through a series of everyday rituals that defy chronology.
