Nadine Labaki – Lebanese director of the crowd-pleasing Caramel and woolly, lightly feminist ‘why can’t we all just get along?’ Middle Eastern wish-fulfilment drama Where Do We Go Now? – returns with this dark slice of social realism which won the Grand Jury Prize at Cannes and has been nominted for the Best Foreign Languge Film Oscar.
