Bristol Bad Film Club: Fateful Findings & Twisted Pair

Director
Neil Breen
Running Time
189 mins

Self-taught, multi-non-talented filmmaker Neil Breen writes, directs, edits and stars in all his films, which carry socially conscious warnings about the threats from government and big business. He also finances them all himself. Given that he’s been described as “David Lynch meets Tommy Wiseau”, it’s hardly surprising that they should have become huge hits on the cult circuit.

As a special treat for November, the Bristol Bad Film Club is screening two of his films. Breen’s best-known work, Fateful Findings (“A computer scientist/novelist reunites with his childhood friend while facing the dire and fateful consequences of his mystical actions”), gets its first UK theatrical screening.

This is followed by the UK premiere ofr his new one, Twisted Pair: “Identical twin brothers become hybrid artificial intelligence entities, yet torn in different directions to achieve justice for humanity.”
