Running Time
31 mins

Inspired by the experience of a friend becoming homeless, local filmmaker, artist and musician Patch de Salis set out to tell the stories of some of Bristol’s most vulnerable people in this self-produced debut short.

Shot over two years, This Ain’t a Life is billed as “a frank, inspiring and humanistic film that pulls no punches and doesn’t hide away from the difficulties and even beautiful moments dealing with life without a home.”

This premiere screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker and people involved in the issue of homelessness. Bring your own drinks. The Cube isn’t operating a bar at the moment. Tickets should be bought in advance. You should also read the Cube’s socially distanced show information.
