This award-winning new environmental activism documentary from the directors of Way of the Morris charts one skirmish in the battle against HS2. Unfolding over the course of a single day, it follows protesters as they try to prevent the felling of an ash tree.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with some of the protesters involved, focusing on the role of protest and the relationship between government, corporations and law enforcement. After that, there’s an open mic protest music session, to which you’re invited to bring your own instrument.
