Former airline pilot turned director Tristan Loraine has spent 18 years collecting evidence and testimony about the dangerous toxins swilling around planes, which are breathed in by the millions who jet around the globe. That’s because on all currently flying commercial jet aircraft (except the Boeing 787), this breathing air supply is taken, unfiltered, from the compression section of the engines in a process known as ‘bleed air’. Not surprisingly, the airlines would rather you didn’t know about this.
