Ace documentarian Alex Gibney (Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, No Stone Unturned, etc) turns his attention to the strange case of Mikhail Khodorkovsky: an enigmatic former Russian oligarch turned political dissident.
After accumulating a shitload of loot in the capitalist Wild West of post-Soviet Russia, Khodorkovsky accused the Putin regime of corruption and was promptly busted for fraud and sent to a grim Siberian prison. Today, as an exile living in London, he has become an unlikely martyr for the anti-Putin movement.
