Twentysomething Kurt Kunkle (Joe Keery – Steve Harrington in Stranger Things) – aka KurtsWorld96 – has the very modern ambition of becoming a social media star. But right now he’s working for a rideshare company called Spree and is tragically unfollowed. Then he hits upon a surefire way of getting hits and likes: he rigs up his car with multiple cameras and livestreams as he slaughters his passengers. Needless to say, this doesn’t go according to plan.
It’s a must-see for fans of the burgeoning twatsploitation genre, or, as the Hollywood Reporter put it, “an intriguing ride for those who don’t run screaming from social-media overload”.
