Running Time
75 mins

As part of the Slapstick Festival’s celebration of musical comedy, Simon Brint (keyboard) and Rowland Rivron (drums)  – aka Raw Sex – get the full nostalgia treatment. Expect plenty of extracts and highlights, as Rivron joins comedian and writer Robin Ince for a look back at the duo’s career. It’s a safe bet that they’d have chosen a different name had they found fame in the internet era. (A tip: do not Google ‘Raw Sex’).

Raw Sex was born on the French & Saunders TV show performing comedy versions of songs by the likes of Abba and The Pet Shop Boys. The act then acquired a life of its own and even spawned a film, There’s No Business.
