Running Time
80 mins

Not Going Out writer and star Lee Mack makes his Slapstick Festival debut with a show saluting his comedy heroes: Laurel and Hardy.

Expect a selection of hilarious shorts and clips, plus live music. The centrepiece of the show is a full screening of the recently rediscovered and restored long-thought-lost 1927 L&H comedy short, Battle of the Century. Legend has it that more than 3,000 custard pies were chucked in this one. It will be accompanied by the European Silent Screen Virtuosi, playing a new semi-improvised score composed by Guenter A. Buchwald.
