Georges (Jean Dujardin, of The Artist fame) is a man obsessed. His peculiar obsession is to own the finest jacket in the world. And having just split up with his wife, he’s free to pursue that desire wherever it may take him. And it takes him to some very strange places indeed.

There are plenty of twists along the way in Quentin Dupieux‘s laugh-out-loud black comedy which Variety likened to a cross between Barton Fink and Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. Deerskin isn’t a portrait of warped male identity — it’s the story of a madman,” remarked their reviewer. “And the movie, in its deadpan way, is as nutty as he is.”
