Three residents survive house gas explosion
Avon Fire and Rescue Service responded to a gas explosion at a property in Yate at 6.50am.
At the time of the explosion, three residents were inside the property at Lancaster Road.
The residents are now being treated in hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing.

In a statement, Avon Fire and Rescue Service have said: “The explosion caused a fire, which has now been safely extinguished.
“A cordon has been put in place and approximately 40 people have been evacuated from their homes as a precaution.
“Three people have been injured and have been taken to hospital with injuries that are not expected to be life threatening.
“A fourth person has been treated by the ambulance service at the scene.
“Local people are asked to avoid the area while we deal with the incident.”

The gas has yet to be isolated, although the incident is under control, services are still attending but in a reduced capacity.
Avon and Somerset Police has set up at a nearby public house.
