Man dies after fatal collision on M32

A man succumbed to injuries after a single-vehicle collision on Sunday morning.

According to Avon & Somerset police, the deceased was a 30-year-old who was one of the two occupants in a grey Citroen C4.

Officials responded to a call about a crash involving the car on M32 at the junction 1 exit slip road at 10.15am.

The second man, who suffered minor injuries was taken to a hospital but was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving while over the prescribed limit of alcohol.

Family of the bereaved man have been notified and a specially-trained liaison officer is in touch with them to offer support.

Police believe that the road was busy with several motorists who may have seen something and have requested any such witness with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
