In photos: Summer solstice paddleboarding 2025

Saturday is summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.

In other words, it’s the longest day of the year – the day with the longest period of daylight.

Every year, SUP Bristol, the city centre-based stand up paddleboarding activity group, head out for a group paddleboarding session as the sun begins to rise on the day of the summer solstice.
