Arrest after man found with ‘significant injuries’ in St Paul’s

A person has been arrested after a man was found with significant injuries in St Paul’s on Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the scene at around 8:30 on Tuesday night. A cordon has been put in place around the area and remained in place on Wednesday morning.

A spokesperson for the police said: “Police are at the scene of a serious incident which happened in the St Paul’s area of Bristol overnight Tuesday 5 to Wednesday 6 March.

“Cordons are in place in Ashley Road and Grosvenor Road.

“Officers were called at about 8.30pm on Tuesday after a man was found with significant injuries.

“A man was arrested and remains in police custody while the investigation continues at pace. Both are adults.
