Portishead reissue Dummy on vinyl
It has been 20 years since Portishead released their seminal album Dummy and to mark the occasion the Bristol band are reissuing the album on 180 gram heavyweight vinyl in a gatefold sleeve.
There will be no additional material on the reissue, with the songs remaining as originally recorded, but the first 1000 copies of the record will be pressed on blue vinyl and each copy will contain a download card of the album.
Pre-orders will start tomorrow via the Portishead website.
There have been no UK shows for Portishead this summer, who are being kept busy on the European festival circuit, with gigs still to come in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, Ireland and Poland.
The band are also thought to be working on a new album, their fourth overall and first since 2008′s Third.
Meanwhile, Geoff Barrow is continuing to be Mr Grumpy on Twitter:
