Bristol’s IDLES to support Foo Fighters

By Sammy Jones  Tuesday Aug 29, 2017

Bristol punks IDLES have announced their biggest support slot ever. The quintet, who released the much-lauded LP Brutalism earlier this year, will open for the Foo Fighters at the O2 Arena on Tuesday, September 19.

It’s not hard to see why the Foos have plumped for the Bristol band as their openers – IDLES’ intoxicatingly raw live show has thrilled audiences at festivals all summer, most recently at Reading and Leeds.

As well as supporting Foo Fighters, IDLES have also announced their biggest headline show yet at London’s Village Underground on Thursday, November 23. They will be supported by Life and Kite Base (featuring Ayse Hassan of Savages). Grab a ticket for that from Thursday, August 31 from 9am here: www.gigsandtours.com/tour/idles/.
