Generally well-received singing crocodile family flick Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile ended Smile‘s reign of terror at the top of the chart over the weekend and also held off the challenge from the 13th and allegedly final Halloween film, Halloween Ends. Despite critical acclaim, fellow new release Emily had to settle for a place at the foot of the chart, behind Pakistani remake The Legend of Muala Jatt, having failed to drum up much interest in punterland. Meanwhile, last week’s highest new entry, The Woman King, dropped out of top five and The Lost King fell out of chart altogether. By contrast, Ticket to Paradise and Don’t Worry Darling both continued to hold steady in their fourth week on release.
