It was no surprise to find Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny topping this week’s chart. But it’s also safe to say that Disney will be disappointed with the £7m opening weekend haul of the second most hyped movie of the year (after the upcoming Barbie). The previous film in the franchise, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, opened on £12 back in 2008. This critic-proof fifth and final instalment in the series also had a weak opening in the US, where some sources claim the under 30s stayed away in droves. The only other new release to make the top five was the animation Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken which opened just ahead of rival family flick The Little Mermaid. Elsewhere in the chart, The Flash took a big tumble, falling from second to seventh place with a 52% drop in takings
