Mysterious artwork appears in Temple Gardens

A mysterious new artwork has appeared in Temple Gardens.

The ‘grave’ features a prostrate body covered in grass, leaves and white flowers, with more flowers in a small glass bottle near the body’s head.

The artwork bears the hallmarks of similar pieces that have appeared across Bristol in recent months, including a mannequin of Thomas Chatterton sitting above the door of his former home in Redcliffe and King Kong hanging from the side of the Whiteladies Picture House.
