It’s 2024 and Covid-19 has mutated into Covid-23. In the US, the infected are herded into concentration camps.
Sounds promising, huh? Especially if you’re one of those swivel-eyed conspiracy theorists. Except that this quickie Michael Bay production then proceeds to do the dreary Romeo and Juliet thing against the backdrop of the pandemic. US reviews were damning, with many critics observing that even those who choose not to gallop around on their offence-taking high horses will be disappointed by this exploitation thriller, which commits the unforgivable sin of wasting its premise and becoming very boring indeed.
