Gnomes have been cowering below ground for more than 200 years until a plucky trio of persons of restricted growth overcome their fears and scuttle to the surface.

This revoiced German animation from the director of Rabbit School – Gardens of the Golden Egg and Raven the Little Rascal is loaded with the mandatory uplifting and mildly wokey message about acceptance, which was best summarised by Dr. Seuss back in 1954: “A person’s a person no matter how small”.
