Following the death of his domineering father and staring down the barrel of unemployment, married fortysomething Dublin docker Colm (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) seeks solace in the arms of teenage hustler Jay (Tom Glynn-Carney).
Billed as a drama of “masculinity in crisis”, Peter Mackie Burns’s follow-up to Daphne is based on Irish playwright Mark O’Halloran‘s play Trade. It explores fairly familiar territory but benefits from fine performances by both leads.
