Eugene Evans (Finn Cole of Peaky Blinders fame) dreams of escaping his crappy Texas town. Opportunity knocks when he discovers wounded, fugitive bank robber Allison Wells (Margot Robbie) hiding out in his barn.
Yep, this is a Depression-era Bonnie and Clyde-style crime drama that’s well performed but hardly breaks any new ground. It’s best enjoyed by Terrence Malick enthusiasts.
