The Lego Movie

Director
Phil Lord, Christopher Miller
Certificate
U
Running Time
100 mins

When bearded mystic Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman) gathers his fellow Lego master builders, he has terrible news. Nasty CEO President Business (Will Ferrell) plans to end the world. But in times of crisis, a hero will arise. Vitruvius reveals that their hero is a bumbling, unassuming little yellow fellow named Emmet (Chris Pratt). Hopelessly unprepared and ill-equipped Emmet now finds himself drafted into an elite tyrant-thwarting unit. His mini-figure team includes tough girl Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks), mysterious Batman (Will Arnett), sweet Uni-Kitty (Alison Brie) and gnarly pirate Metalbeard (Nick Offerman). But the President’s ominously named dastardly henchman Bad Cop (Liam Neeson) proves a formidable opponent.

Written and directed by the creators of quirky hit Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Lego Movie exceeded all expectations to become the biggest box office hit of 2014.
