James Bond might have pooped his pants at the first sight of Covid-19, but rufty-tufty Liam Neeson is clearly made of sterner stuff as his latest action movie is getting a full national cinema release.
Yup it’s yet another outburst of vengeance whupass, during which our Liam pulls That Face once again while wielding a gun. This time he’s a serial bank robber whose moral compass is such that he always makes off with other people’s loot nicely, never killing anyone. Anyhoo, now the criminal underworld’s Mr. Integrity has fallen in love and decides to go straight by turning himself in to the FBI and giving back all his ill-gotten gains in return for a plea deal. Trouble is that agents Nivens (Jai Courtney) and Hall (Anthony Ramos) are wrong ‘uns who intend to stitch him up and grab the swag for themselves. Whacking Mrs. Liam (Kate Walsh) is probably a bad idea, mind. Haven’t these people seen any of Liam’s previous 15 films?
