Resonance

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Nov 21, 2018

Resonance is a pioneering social impact investment company, who connects capital with social enterprise, something they’ve been doing since 2002. There are two part to their business, the first is managing and creating social impact investment funds, the other is advising social enterprises on how they can raise investment to make an even greater impact.

Resonance are a national company, with an office based in central Bristol, and launched the first ever regional Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) Fund in Bristol in 2016. This Fund has raised almost £3m from a range of individual investors, based both in and outside of the City, investors who want to help make Bristol’s’ social enterprises more successful, and more impactful. The Fund has invested in 8 social enterprises so far, including Bristol Braille Technology; South Bristol Sports; Street Impact Bristol and The Bearpit, and are on the lookout for more investors and even more social enterprises to invest in. The successful launch of the Bristol Fund has led to Resonance developing a second fund with the focus on the West Midlands region.

EatDrink24/7 Launch Party is back on July 8 2026!
Exclusive collabs from Bristol’s favourite food vendors, available for one night only. Be first to grab your free copy of the EatDrink24/7 guide – plus every ticket comes with a free limited-edition beer can.

Being part of Better Business Bristol, was a natural extension to supporting the work that Resonance already does in the City, helping individuals, businesses and social enterprises work together to make Bristol an even better place in which to live and work.
