Traumatised smokejumper and wilderness survival expert Hannah (Angelina Jolie) comes across nipper Connor Casserly (Finn Little), who’s being hotly pursued by a brace of assassins (Nicholas Hoult, Aidan Gillen). They’ve already whacked his pa, so naturally our heroine decides to protect the lad. But the dastardly rotter duo promptly set fire to the forest.
