Claire Underwood herself (Robin Wright, for it is she) makes her feature directorial debut and stars in this drama about a grief-stricken, middle-aged woman who heads off-grid in the Wyoming wilderness. If that sounds familiar, it may be because this is pretty much the same plot as Wild. Still, at least Wright gives herself a love interest in the hunky form of rufty-tufty hunter Demián Bichir.
Reviews have been mixed, but if you fancy a somewhat less impressive companion piece to Nomadland, with equally stunning scenery, this should do the job nicely.
