Part of Vanguard | Bristol Street Art: The Evolution of a Global Movement, the day-long Vans Film Festival, curated by Doc’n Roll Films, celebrates the DIY spirit of music, street art and skateboarding. Films screened include skateboard documentary Boarders (12pm), IDLES documentary Don’t Go Gentle (2:45pm) and street art story A Love Letter For You (5:15pm), alongside a host of skateboarding shorts. Director of Boarders Annika Ranin will be present for a post-film Q&A all about the changing face of global skateboarding, while former IDLES bandmember Andy Stewart and IDLES AF Group founder Lindsay Melbourne will be talking about finding strength in vulnerability through music.

Tickets for all screenings are free, but these must be booked in advance through the Arnolfini website.
