15 things to do in Bristol this weekend – January 12-14 2018

Get out of the cold snap and warm your cockles this weekend with a trip to the theatre to see Bristol Old Vic Young Company’s latest production, Punk Rock, which offers a biting social commentary about the pressures young people face when they don’t measure up to society’s expectations of adulthood.

Also on this weekend are a couple of preview screenings of Pixar’s latest animated film, Coco. It’s a colourful take on Mexico’s Day of the Dead traditions, voiced by an all-latino cast, and is sure to keep young ‘uns happy with a healthy dose of slapstick humour.

Finally, if music is your bag, get yourself along to The Fleece for their all-day acoustic music fest. Eighteen up-and-coming local musicians will play through the afternoon, so nab a seat and settle in for the day.
