Trans Day of Remembrance is November 20 and Trans Pride South West is holding a vigil to coincide with this important day in the LGBTQ+ calendar.
This event is a vigil to honour transgender individuals worldwide who have lost their lives in this past year, and therefore the nature of the event may be upsetting for some. Representatives from Mindline Trans+ will be available during and after the vigil should anyone need to speak with them.
6pm: Arrival and refreshments provided by LGBT Bristol
6.30pm: Vigil hosted by Cheryl Morgan
9pm: End of service and chance to mingle
The end of the service will feature an open discussion around the following question: ‘Why are events like this important to the trans community?’
