How to read academic research for free

Date: Wednesday, Nov 27 2019
Time: 7:00pm
Venue: Redland Library
Price: Free

Much professional research is only available if you pay for access, but researchers are now embracing Open Access, a movement to make their articles available to everyone.  Librarians from the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England will help explain how to access research from researchers across the world. This will include an introduction to several Open Access tools that can help you find free versions of research, and time on the library’s computers with support to find articles you are interested in.

Free (a voluntary donation to a homeless charity invited)
