Solo exhibition by Judith I. Bridgland. In 2012, Lime Tree Gallery held a successful exhibition, The Great Welsh Journey, documenting Judith’s travels through Wales in the form of dramatic landscape paintings and drawings.
In the years since, the artist has returned to Wales, mostly to stay on the Gower Peninsula, in order to gather material for this show.
“Here, I hope to show how revisiting a location can help you understand the landscape and see it with fresh eyes. I have tried to explore the beauty of this area with its magnificent coastline through a variety of paintings, drawings and new media.
Judith will be in the gallery on Saturday, Sept 2, 11am-3pm. All welcome.
Plus linocut prints by much loved Welsh artist Trevor Sowden, and semi-figurative sculpture by Welsh-born Helen Sinclair.
