Health: Well Hung Meat launch Sausage at Better Food

Organic September starts with a banger in Bristol as award-winning The Well Hung Meat Company team up with Bristol’s Better Food to launch a gourmet organic sausage. The super sausage has been created from outdoor reared organic pork, to the recipe of Better Food founder Phil Haughton.
The Well Hung Meat Company will also launch its full range of fresh organic meat onto the shelves of Better Food’s three Bristol stores for September.
From its inception in 2001 as a meat box home delivery service, specialising in locally-reared dry-aged meat, The Well Hung Meat Company has grown a widespread reputation for producing top quality meat with provenance and ethics that are second to none.
Head of Sales, Fiona Robinson notes, “Consumer habits have been changing so fast in recent times and there is strong demand for top quality high provenance products like ours. The environmental, health and animal welfare benefits of switching to organic are now better understood than ever before, and we want play our part in making premium organic meat available to a wider audience.”
The Well Hung Meat Company’s passion for its people, planet and excellence fit perfectly with Better Food’s aim of building a better, fairer food community. They also run Holy Cow for their own single-estate dairy products and Carswell Cottages – for luxury stays on their lovely Devon farm.
