Search continues for missing student

By Martin Booth  Tuesday May 4, 2021

A University of Bristol student has been missing since Saturday morning when he left his home in Redland.

Police say that they are “extremely concerned” for Olisa Odukwe, who may have his black bicycle with him.

The 20-year-old was last seen wearing a grey YG hoodie with a picture of a black goat on the front, and either black shorts or black joggers.

Olisa is a second year mechanics student who plays football for the University of Bristol’s first team.

Thousands of people have already shared online appeals to find him, including his girlfriend.

His football team describe Olisa as having box braids, being around 6ft tall and has a lean build.

In a statement, Avon & Somerset Police said: “We’re extremely concerned for Olisa, missing in Redland, Bristol.

“Olisa, 20, was last seen wearing a grey YG hoodie with a picture of a black goat on the front, and either black shorts or black joggers.

“He may have a black racer style bike with him. Call 999 ref 5221094539.”
