Win! Adult day passes to Westonbirt’s tree-mendous family day

Kids go free, but you can win two adult day passes – meaning a family of four can visit Westonbirt for free in August

Westonbirt Treefest competition

Tree-mendous family activities, carvers creating big play trail pieces, live music, delicious food and cooking demonstrations, woodworkers and over 100 craft exhibitors join this year’s Treefest at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.

Kids go free, but you can win two adult day passes – meaning a family of four can visit Westonbirt for free in during the three-day festival in late August.

Visitors can watch as carvers take inspiration from fairytales and nature to create large wooden sculptures that will become part of the new play trail in Silk Wood. Wood for the sculptures is sourced as part of the routine management of Westonbirt Arboretum’s tree collection

Kids go free at Treefest, which takes place from Saturday 25 to Monday, August 27 at the Forestry Commission-managed arboretum in Gloucestershire.

Adult and concession tickets can be purchased in advance at reduced prices of £10 per adult and £8 per concession.

Weekend tickets and camping pitches are also available. Visitors camping at Treefest can even upgrade to a tipi or yurt for their weekend!

The daily programme runs from 10am to 5pm and live music taking place into the evening.

More details and advance tickets are available from www.forestry.gov.uk/westonbirt-treefest.

To enter our competition to win two free adult day passes, just answer the following question:

How will the big sculptures created at Treefest be used at Westonbirt?

Email your answer to competitions@bristol247.com – use ‘Westonbirt Competition’ in the subject of the email. Deadline for entries is 6pm on Friday, June 29. Best of luck!
