A brand new one-day festival will take place in Castle Park this summer.

Love Saves The Day, which takes place on Saturday June 3, will feature a range of top acts including Annie Mac, Bonobo and Bristol-based festival favourites Babyhead and legendary local DJ, DJ Derek. Other acts confirmed for the inaugural event include Amirali, Mr Scruff, Roots Manuva, Totally Enormous Distinct Dinosaurs, Joy Orbison, Joker and more.

The team behind Glastonbury Dance Village’s Wow! stage, last year’s incredible See No Evil and one half of the brains behind In:Motion amongst many other events have come together to put all these years of experience into what will be a celebration of all of it, a celebration of this city and all that makes it so great, but beyond that a celebration of music, parties, and good times.

Dubbed ‘the ultimate Bank Holiday party’, Love Saves The Day is a brand new greenfield festival in the heart of Bristol. A spokesman for the event said: “Very much a Mecca for British music, ‘The Bristol Scene’ has a near legendary reputation for nurturing and promoting pioneering musical talent. Its rich sonic heritage has long been admired by the rest of the world and with today’s burgeoning scene this has never been more relevant.

More acts to be announced on www.lovesavestheday.org and tickets, priced £19.50adv, available at www.residentadvisor.net
