Bristol-based law firm Gregg Latchams has further strengthened its commercial property department with the acquisition of a niche practice run by David Langley.

David has been a solicitor for almost 30 years, nearly half of which has been spent running his own specialist commercial property practice.

He joins Gregg Latchams as an associate, working alongside solicitor Ed Pitt in the firm’s commercial property department, where they will concentrate on developing a dedicated landlord and tenant team to enhance Gregg Latchams’ existing offering to commercial and retail clients.

Richard Hill, Gregg Latchams managing partner and head of its corporate property work, described the move as beneficial to both sides, with David bringing considerable experience and a loyal client base to Gregg Latchams, while these same clients will benefit from the firm’s other services, such as corporate and litigation support, which David was previously unable to offer.

“We consider that the key strengths he brings to the department will help us to continue to develop and thrive in the current market place,” said Richard.

“Our focus is to provide excellent value services to corporate small and medium-sized businesses and high net worth private clients in the South and South West regions. David’s client contacts will fit in well with that market sector.”

David Langley added: “This arrangement will fit very well and undoubtedly be to the benefit of my extremely loyal clients and those of Gregg Latchams.”
