Produced by Sally Arthur, the film is based around the rhythms of a baby inside the womb and how midwives “lead women through the most life-changing event of their lives”.

Ms Arthur, ironically, was unable to attend the event as she is about to give birth herself, but Ms Lazenby said after picking up the award that she was “delighted”.

The film was made at the Bedminster studios of film company World of Arthur Cox and beat other films including ‘The Gruffalo’. It was commissioned by the UK Film Council, South West Screen and 4mations.
