Thursday and Friday
Bristol Zoo fireworks displays take place from 4pm – 5.30pm, 5th – 6th November 2009. Tickets cost £4.75 for adults and £3.50 for children. To book tickets click on the link below. Bristol Zoo Official Site.
You can make a day of it by visiting the zoo on the day of the displays and staying on. All you need to do is upgrade the normal ticket for £3.75. As the Bristol Zoo Fireworks Displays are extremely popular the zoo is hosting the events over two days. However, booking is essential and tickets go quickly as spaces are limited
Bangless Bonfire
Obviously part of the reason the Bristol Zoo Fireworks Displays are noiseless are so they don’t scare the animals. Instead of piercing squeals, crackles and bangs, the zoo’s Bangless Bonfire Nights feature stunning fireworks which silently shoot into the night sky. They still have the glitter and sparkle of normal fireworks, they just don’t have the loud bangs.
Fire Performers
Although the booming explosion of the fireworks will be missing from the Bristol Zoo fireworks displays there will be a bonfire on the main lawn. There’s also entertainment from fire performances who’ll be showing off their pyrotechnic skills on the Terrace Theatre at the Bristol Zoo Bangless Bonfire Nights.
Homemade Food
There’ll be plenty of wholesome food to keep you warm during the bonfire festivities at Bristol Zoo. Festive treats that will help keep away the winter cold include Gloucester old spot sausage hot dogs, homemade soups and cakes, plus there’s the sight of those glowing fireworks!
