Lords dream dies for Gloucestershire
The dream of a Lords final disappeared for Gloucestershire for another year after they lost their Friends Provident semi-final against Sussex on Sunday.

As The Times reports, it was the slow left-arm spin of Mike Yardy that put a stranglehold on their mission to reach the 327 needed for victory at Hove.
Needing 78 runs from the last 10 overs, Gloucestershire looked well placed with Alex Gidman approaching his century.
But four wickets from the spinner from 8.4 overs – including that of Gidman who made 116 in vain – wreaked havoc, and the visitors were skittled out for 292.
Earlier, Sussex had made a positive start with Ed Joyce the star batsman making 146 before being run out. In the last 10 overs though, the home side made only 57 runs, giving Gloucestershire a manageable target.
